The clients’ Victorian High Country residence is a retreat for the professional couple and their dogs on weekends. Plants have been selected for their texture and form as well as frost hardiness and resilience in dry hot conditions. A pool was installed in 2009 and plans for poolside garden beds are underway. Further plantings of trees and shrubs are planned for 2010-11 including a grass prairie planting.
