Meet our dedicated and qualified team

Lisa Ellis

As the head designer and a qualified horticulturist, I am passionate about creating beautiful gardens for our clients. And so is every member of my talented team ‐ which I am extremely lucky to have. I am also a proud board member of the industry’s peak body, Landscaping Victoria.

Andrew Greenwood

Senior Landscape Designer

As a qualified designer (Bachelor of Environmental Design- Landscape) and qualified landscape contractor, I bring solid construction know-how to the design team. Previously I ran my own landscape construction business for more than 15 years.

Sarah Anderson

I am a designer with more than 5 years experience, and the newest member of the design team. I hail from North East Victoria, and studied Landscape Architecture at RMIT. With a substantial residential background, I enjoy the challenge of bringing a client’s vision to life through sound practice and communication.

Tim Lilley

Garden Installations Foreman

Before joining the Lisa Ellis Gardens projects team, I ran my own garden maintenance business and worked in high end garden installations. I completed my horticultural apprenticeship more than 20 years ago and ever since that time I’ve not favoured any particular garden style- there’s something to appreciate in every garden we create.

Zeb Clarke

Design & Projects Assistant

I completed my Bachelor of Design in Landscape Architecture at RMIT and currently work as a Design and Projects Assistant, aiding in both the conceptual and physical aspects of the landscape. I am thrilled to be able to work alongside a bright team of experienced professionals to help create gardens that are elegant and innovative.

Tano Scriva

Maintenance Supervisor

I completed my horticulture apprenticeship working in residential gardens 10 years ago. After 4 years I decided to move into the commercial landscaping industry where I spent 6 years learning new skills and gaining further experience.

Peter Younger

Senior Horticulturist

I have always been interested in plants ‐ especially the edible variety. I love being a member of the Lisa Ellis Gardens team. And I am also proud to have won the ‘Outstanding First Year Apprentice of the Year’ and ‘Third Year Apprentice of the Year Award’ during my training.

Michele Dengo

I grew up in Italy where my family operates a plant production nursery. Since i was young I have been surrounded by plants and flowers. Horticulture is my greatest passion and I am fascinated by Australia. it is a pleasure to reside in this country with its amazing landscape.

Marie Blake

After travelling the world renewed my love of nature and discovering plants, I left my previous career in high end brand management to pursue a life outdoors. I have obtained my Diploma of Horticulture and continue to be inspired by the way a well thought out garden can lift the mood of an area and the people in it.

Sally Bird

Office Manager

As the office manager, I come to Lisa Ellis gardens from a background in an architectural practice. My favourite garden is easily the St Kilda Botanical gardens- the rambling grounds offer many little nooks to retreat into with a deck chair and coffee in hand.

Fiona Nobes

Administration Assistant

I help to run the office on a part‐time basis. With two beautiful daughters, a dog, a guinea pig, a cat and a rabbit, I love all things nature – including gardens of course! I’m managing to pick up lots of inside tips to improve my own garden while I’m at work.
